In depth

Verdict

Red Vermillion would be a snip back on the all-weather on a mark of 46 as he's improved markedly on Turf and is 9lb higher. He won over the track and trip in June and again over 2m at Tramore so should get competitive. FUJIMOTO FLYER (NAP), a winner over hurdles at Killarney and Auteuil and runner-up in a Grade 2 at Kempton, has failed to finish in two starts over timber in recent weeks. She's still only four and remains a filly with great potential so gets the nod to concede weight all-round. Loudest Whisper gained her first victory on the Flat over the track and trip earlier this month but had the benefit of Joey Sheridan's claim and is effectively 14lb higher. High Lake was engaged in the 5.20 at Gowran yesterday but Fiadnha, who ran well over 1m4f at the Curragh last month, missed the race to run here.
