Dark Alliance had shown some potential before finding a mile too far at Cork. Mansuri had run very well over a mile at Gowran then attempted to make all over an extra quarter-mile at Roscommon but couldn't keep up the gallop. Timiyan has shown pace in both starts over longer trips so this should prove ideal though another chance is handed to BEYOND BRILLIANCE. She hasn't progressed as expected after a promising debut behind stablemate Marvellous in October but she wasn't too far behind Flying Jib in a Group 3 at the Curragh earlier this month and she probably found the ground too quick at Navan last time. Texas Rock showed promise on his debut and if he gets a run from his reserve spot is one to keep an eye on.
