Verdict
Bringewood Belle looked to be thriving until the wheels have come off the last twice and she's probably best watched until signalling a return to form. Marico is a fair hurdler but has shown nothing in two chasing starts. In contrast MIDNIGHT DIAMOND has been performing with credit between the flags and now comes back to Rules under the care of Tim Vaughan. The yard frequently do well with new inmates first time up and he's the preference over recent scorers Flichity and Cypress Grove. Both are limited but do have the virtue of arriving here in winning form, which is more than can be said for predominantly out-of-form rivals.
