Verdict

Llandinabo Lad is now 0-6 over fences and has not progressed as connections might have hoped but Magistrato did win a novice chase at Warwick in May when trained by Paul Nicholls. En Avant has won twice over hurdles and Gitche Gumee won over the smaller obstacles last year but the four-year-old AVILES could be the one to be on with a significant weight-for-age allowance at this time of year.
