In depth

Verdict

We’ll take a chance on the well-treated UBERMAN in this as improvement should be forthcoming for the switch to Christian Williams’ yard. This season’s Hereford and Leicester winner Ben Buie is a danger, however, as is the unexposed Southwell runner-up Mexican Boy. An Marcach is struggling for form but Line Of Descent has found only one too good in both starts over the larger obstacles and is only a five-year-old.
