Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Nod's Star, Marathea and Upright Ima, and the vote is given to Nod's Star. The selection was a good third behind It's Blue Chip last time. That sets the standard in the context of this race and she need only run up to that mark to score. Marathea rates the main danger as she is from a top yard, looks to be on a handy mark and is dropping in grade she should be closely monitored in the market. Upright Ima is another worthy of respect on her latest fourth behind Tyne For Intersky but that was on very fast ground and she would not want any rain. Rose Of York won a seller a couple of runs ago but this looks tougher and she will need to improve. Of the remainder, Red Dahlia would have place claims on her best form but has been disappointing of late and for the winner we return to Nod's Star.
