Verdict

Shalamzar was racing from 23lb out of the handicap when fifth at Lingfield, and a winner has already come out of that race, but the bottom weight was due to run yesterday at Plumpton. GENERAL BUX is having just his fourth start over timber and was fourth here around this time last year. Fergus Gregory takes off 5lb and that should help the Olly Murphy runner open his account. Midnight Queen alternates between hurdles and fences and stays well so can’t be ignored. Ring Minella will be all the better for last month’s run at Fontwell but The Lady Rules was well beaten in a seller on her reappearance. Dowhatudodobest attracted market support at Plumpton, however, and could be improving.
