Formal Bid was last seen in a Grade 2 chase at Doncaster but was beaten 11 lengths by Yasir in a claimer at Towcester in November when receiving weight so looks to have little chance of reversing that form on these terms. Monroe Park is a regular around here but has managed just one win over hurdles in 35 attempts. MINISTEROFINTERIOR has a much better strike rate and showed himself to be in good heart with victory at Stratford. A repeat looks on the cards, though Irish raider Glenconkeyne should also give a good account.
