In depth

Verdict

Captain Paulie is slowly coming down the weights but has only managed one place in six attempts over fences. Fiftyonefiftyone has been very disappointing so far this term and Fulgora ran poorly when favourite at Leicester last month and has a lot to find to overturn that running with C&D winner Full Ov Beans. Persian Herald was second on his fencing bow in a maiden chase over C&D 12 days ago but we fancy CHRISTOPHER WREN to build on his latest third at Warwick and get off the mark over the larger obstacles at the fifth time of asking.
