        Verdict

        The maiden Circle Of Wolves has no easy task under top weight, but this is something of a drop in class for the five-year-old and a reproduction of his effort when runner-up to Just A Touch at Warwick just before Christmas, would be more than good enough in this. Son Of A Gun has been very disappointing since winning his bumper back in 1999, but he did run well on his only previous outing here, also in a bumper and he could go well in this moderate contest at a decent price. Moqui Marble showed nothing in a couple of outings over hurdles in Ireland, but this is not a strong race and if the market speaks in his favour, one should take note.
