Verdict
Come On Charlie has won twice over hurdles this season and came up against a much-improved stayer last time at Catterick. He doesn’t really have a chasing pedigree but amateur Ben Jones takes off 7lb and he will have had plenty of schooling. Stonebrigg Legend finally got off the mark here 11 days ago, beating PRIMAL FOCUS, but has a penalty to carry and it would be no surprise if the less-exposed runner-up turned the tables. Mr Love has started favourite in three of his six chase starts but has only been placed twice so improvement is needed.
