Verdict

Amiral Collonges was only beaten a short-head at Market Rasen prior to being hampered and unseating his rider at Doncaster but he’s a thorough stayer who may find 3m around here too short. Potters Legend has been a tad disappointing since a fair run in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury but he’s starting to look well treated. Bordeaux Bill added an all-weather bumper to his victory in a Wetherby novice chase in December but might need a bit more to complete his hat-trick. WHAT HAPPENS NOW hasn’t raced since December but goes well fresh. Though he might have preferred better ground, he has won on soft over hurdles so gets the nod. Minella On Line still looks a few pounds too high but Morney Wing likes this sharp track, though may not have beaten Popelys Gull here in January had the latter not fallen at the last.
