Verdict
GAVROCHE GAUGAIN is 5lbs higher than his last fence fall at Hexham but his trainer doesn't send many here and the hint might be worth taking. Ferdy Murphy is still looking for his first winner at the track and this French-bred gelding may be the answer. He had every chance when falling at the last at Hexham and with a promising young rider onboard again the duo should go close. Shouldntbethere has failed to complete on his last two starts, Peak Seasons has had over 100 runs and whilst an infrequent winner, his recent form looks as good as any of his rivals. Fongoli is a talented enough front-runner and he is well-handicapped on his hurdling form, a comment that also applies to Wishes Or Watches who should come on for his last run at Fontwell and he is now down to a mark just 2lbs higher than his last winning one.
