Verdict

DOUKAROV has been running well in higher grade contests and won at Newbury last month. He’ll find this easier than when third behind the progressive Gallic Geordie last time. Somekindofstar floundered in heavy going on his latest start having gone close off today’s mark at Fontwell before that while The Vollan can race off a 7lb lower mark back over the larger obstacles today. Fairway Freddy is unpredictable but has a chance on an earlier third at Kempton.
