In depth

Verdict

Ingenuity may have been flattered by his run at Newbury but Gorham's Cave was highly tried returning from a lengthy absence at Kempton. Glorious Dane was third here last month but needs to brush up his jumping. MOUNT WINDSOR was a decent sort in bumpers but has taken a while to get the hang of jumping hurdles. However, he came good at Lingfield a week ago, building on an earlier second at Uttoxeter, and a conditional’s 10lb claim negates the penalty. Rikoboy makes his handicap debut and has had wind surgery since last seen but looks high enough in the weights.
