Verdict
Late Night Lily hasn’t won since the end of 2016 and Curious Carlos is hard to predict while Haafapiece is only 1-15 over hurdles though is a consistent sort and hails from a yard that gets plenty of winners around here. Trapper Peak is in the form of his life but this may be a step too far while Smart Getaway has been a beaten favourite twice at Southwell since winning a maiden there in July and is now tried in cheekpieces. The latter’s stablemate TODD won over a longer trip here last December and is only a pound higher. He’s also been successful over course and distance in the past and is receiving weight all round thanks to Callum McKinnes’ claim.
