Verdict

Vertueux has been well beaten on Polytrack since winning off an 8lb lower mark at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. NEWORLD won over track and trip before Christmas and, back over hurdles and with cheekpieces added to his usual blinkers, he may be capable of getting back in the winner's enclosure off just a pound higher mark. Bernisdale has won twice over hurdles and five times on the Flat so could be interesting if rediscovering her form but none of the others make much appeal.
