In depth

Verdict

It's difficult to see past SHABAK HOM after his facile victory at Ludlow for which the assessor has raised him 10lb. He can race with a 7lb penalty here and his rider can claim 3lb so he looks well in to complete a quick double. Doyenne Dream is still a maiden after 13 starts over timber and has gone back up in the weights after a couple of reasonable efforts. Youm Jamil is out of the handicap so it's Ironical, who found 3m too far at Uttoxeter last time, who can provide the main threat as his best form has been over this trip.
