Labula Bay, Auburn Spirit, and El Cordobes are three against the field in a wide open handicap and the vote goes to Labula Bay. The selection was a good second behind Andy's Birthday a couple of runs ago before disappointing last time however that was on heavy ground and with this faster ground sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Auburn Spirit rates the main danger on his win over Multi Talented a couple of runs ago but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip last time and for that reason he is opposed. El Cordobes is a bold jumping front runner who has dropped to a handy mark but he is not sure to get an easy lead and is passed over on this occasion.
