In depth

Verdict

Brooklyn Brownie, Predator and Aces Four are the three that catch the eye here with Brooklyn Brownie nominated to come out on top. A winner here over hurdles, Brooklyn Brownie made no mistake on his chasing bow at Hexham, wasnt disgraced when placed in handicap company next time and chased home a tartar in Knowhere at Perth. He was a useful handicap hurdler, and he has taken well to the bigger obstacles. A faqller over hurdles three outings ago, Predator has won comfortably twice since, in a handicap hurdle and on his fencing bow. On the latter occasion his performance was inconclusive as the opposition didnt amount to much and he may not represent value here. Aces Four is well in at the weights presuming he can translate his hurdling form to fences but Ferdy Murphy has not had a winner for some time and he may just need the run. Brooklyn Brownie is taken to prove too good for his opponents.
