    Verdict

    MAID OF MILAN is a resolute galloper who made a successful chasing debut over 3m2f at Newton Abbot last month. She attempted to make all over 2m6f at Uttoxeter earlier this month and stayed on when caught at the third last so this longer trip is in her favour. Kayfleur has yet to win in ten starts over fences and though she's gone close on a couple of occasions the ground may not be testing enough for her. Armedandbeautiful has only had three runs over fences but ran her best race for a very long time over timber at Uttoxeter in June though wouldn't want any more rain and is 4lb out of the handicap. Three-times hurdles winner Frank N Fair is even further out of the weights though in such a small field it may not be too much of a problem.
