In depth

Verdict

Winning pointer FORT GABRIEL made a winning start over fences under Rules at Taunton, when To Begin was third, and the five-year-old is fancied to follow up here as he is probably still on a fair mark. Dr Beaujolais won at Market Rasen last month and was then second in a competitive seller at Kelso so can't be ignored but Court Of Law was making the frame for the first time in six attempts when third at Warwick and was still beaten 23 lengths.
