Verdict

Steve Gollings' runners here are always worth a second look and MAKE ME A FORTUNE could have been let in lightly on his handicap debut. The Southwell and Sedgefield second is well worth another try over this longer trip as he stayed 3m between the flags. Great Link has won a Polytrack maiden since landing a claimer at Ludlow and could be on an upward curve while Kodicil finally got his act together at Market Rasen and that should have boosted confidence. Flat winner Calaf was second over this trip at Taunton last month and can't be ignored but the four-year-old Akdam faces a stiff task at the weights and The Master Remover is hard to predict.
