Jim Best sends CALZAGHE to post and here and we will side with him to get the better of stablemate Fort Churchill and Young Tot. The selection has not been seen out over hurdles since February 2008 but he has been in good form on the flat and he could be quite well handicapped here. He has a good conditional on board and he makes plenty of appeal. Fort Churchill has been a little disappointing over hurdles so far but he is another who may have got in lightly today and the market may guide about his chance in relation to his stablemate today. Young Tot went close at Ludlow last week when he chased home Le Corvee. He is dropped in trip today which will not be a problem as he is pretty versatile and he has to be on the shortlist. Cadwell shaped with a little bit more encouragement at Kelso earlier in the month and it will be interesting to see if Tim Pitt's 5-year-old can build on that today. Wyn Dixie is having his 22nd run over hurdles today and he has only managed to get his head in front once in this sphere, so it is easy to take him on. An open event and the vote goes to Calzaghe.
