Verdict
MAGIC RIVER made late headway in a better race than this at Wincanton last time having finished second off this mark on the Somerset track on his previous start. He doesn’t have a great strike-rate but this a seller and he’ll probably win if he reproduces recent form. Milton Harris also saddles top weight Away For Slates but maiden Imperial Nemesis, second over hurdles last time, could be a bigger threat if handling this drop in distance.
