Verdict
The Paul Murphy colours can be carried to victory for the second time this afternoon as STRAWBERRY is taken to see off Coq Hardi and the progressive pair of Ceasen Desist and I'moncloudnine. The selection was outclassed in an Amateur Riders' race at Cheltenham last time out however she should be happier in this smaller field and easier grade. The experience of Barry Geraghty should help with a mare who isn¿t always fluent at her fences and she looks capable of winning off this mark of 134. Coq Hardi hasn't been with Tim Vaughan for long and he has his first start for the yard today since leaving Peter Bowen. His new trainer has a habit of sweetening horses up and it would be no surprise to see him run a huge race. Cool Roxy is a great advert for the sport and loves this track; Alan Blackmore's teenager may just struggle against this calibre of opposition however. Of more interest then is I'moncloudnine who has a 7lb penalty for his Aintree win last time out however he has a great record over fences and it will take a good one to lower his colours. Hunter-chaser Herecomesstanley might just struggle here after a break and therefore Ceasen Desist looks a more feasible danger. He comes across from Ireland on the back of a win last time out but his handicap mark is pure guesswork on this first handicap run. He'd probably also like quicker ground whereas conditions should be ideal for Strawberry who is preferred.
