Verdict

PENNIES AND POUNDS scored in dominant fashion at Bangor in April, though that success came over a far shorter trip than she faces here. She was well beaten when returning to the Welsh venue to contest a 2m7f hurdle but it's interesting that connections have chosen to remain at the longer trip with her and she's given the chance to make amends. Canarbino Girl is 0-16 but has looked better this term and should get involved on recent evidence, especially if the rains stay away. Her penultimate effort when a close second to Pennant Dancer, who has gone on to win again, reads well and she's respected. Looks Like Magic and Breezy Kin both remain maidens under Rules but have shown enough to be of each-way interest.
