      Verdict

      Padge’s recent form figures are a bit misleading as he usually keeps better company and has plummeted down the handicap. Sartene's Son was third at Southwell in his first run in a handicap but that was over an extra half-mile. He’s been dropped a couple of pounds, however, so has to be of interest. NEVER EQUALLED tends to run his best races here and led for a long way when third last time at Lingfield. He’s another slipping down the weights and might be the one to beat. Lime Street has won only once in 14 starts over timber and there are going concerns today.
