      Verdict

      ROCK ON CANDY is the only one of these absolutely certain to enjoy the soft surface so we'll take her to bounce back from a below-par run at Nottingham where she faded inside the final furlong having raced up with the pace. The danger is probably Shirley's Pride, a winner on good to soft at Goodwood in May and second in better company at Warwick last month. Superior Edge and Madame Kintyre would both need a return to their best to figure, though the latter is starting to look very well treated.
