Verdict
KINGOFTHEWEST floundered in a Grade 3 contest at Sandown on his handicap debut. But the dual hurdles winner will find life easier at this lower level and David Pipe’s charge gets another chance. The unpredictable Crossing The Bar scored over track and trip in between failing to complete while Gallow Ford won at Exeter last April but hasn’t raced since. Beau Haze is upped in class after winning at Chepstow but Quickbuck looks a threat handicapping for the first time.
