In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to know what LE DAUPHIN achieved in winning a novice event at Kempton but the handicapper hasn’t over-reacted and there should be more to come. Allelu Alleluia hasn’t raced since July but Paddys Motorbike seems to like it here and is preferred to Matchaway, disappointing when a beaten favourite at Taunton in February. Verygoodverygood still has too much weight but it would be no surprise to see John Reel in the firing-line now his sights have been lowered. Positively Dylan has shown promise but has never raced on ground this quick.
