Verdict
It’s almost two years since Court Royale last got his head in front and he throws in the odd stinker, as was the case here in June. The Garrison has gone backwards since winning at Stratford in August and Shortcross Storm has lost his way. OBEY THE RULES was no match for a progressive novice at Bangor 11 days ago but was clear of the remainder and remains on the same mark. Sideshift was very disappointing over hurdles but may do better over fences and Folly Gate has hinted at ability, though is now 0-16.
