Verdict

Steel Native won last year’s renewal off a similar mark so can’t be left out of calculations while Conas Taoi was successful in this back in 2015 but hasn’t raced for nearly two years and has switched yards during the interim. Sir Du Bearn has been racking-up wins in point-to-points and has won over regulation fences in the distant past but a chance is taken on JEPECK making a winning reappearance. He’s another prolific pointer but has also placed on numerous occasions under Rules and the move to Anthony Honeyball’s yard may bring about the required improvement. Lunar Flow won at Uttoxeter earlier in the year and remains 7lb higher having been well beaten on his reappearance.
