In depth

Verdict

Taj Badalandabad is obviously going to attract interest on his first run since joining David Pipe and the market is usually a pretty accurate indicator of stable expectations with such types. Cresswell Breeze has the benefit of a recent run which could prove important and should come forward from a good ground third in an ordinary Taunton bumper. However, SOLSTICE STAR showed plenty of future promise on his sole start when an eyecatching, staying-on third behind the useful Modus in a decent Cheltenham bumper on New Year's Day. He hasn't been since but he'll definitely be the one to beat if repeating that level here - and all being well should have improved for the experience too.
