        Verdict

        LANDUE has obvious claims as he bids for a hat-trick given he escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race over track and trip - Marcus Tregoning’s colt looks the one to side with. The Night King went close at Yarmouth last month but is now 5lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield earlier while Alucinado was placed over a shorter trip at the latter track on her handicap debut, though races from out of the weights today. Stand Firm is another with scope now handicapping for the first time but steps up from a mile and has plenty to prove.
