In depth

Verdict

Spectator and Winter Spice are both returning from a break but would have claims if fully wound-up. Soulsaver has won three times but all of those victories came at Fontwell. Sizing At Midnight is 6lb better off with GONE PLATINUM for a three-length defeat here last month but Dai Rees’ top weight was a very easy winner that day and has since run a couple of cracking races on good ground over fences. He is 3lb lower reverting to hurdles and should take all the beating. Ben Brody and Judge Earle are both worth a market check but have been largely disappointing.
