Verdict
After beating a decent field at Newbury on his hurdling debut, JENKINS was undoubtedly disappointing when only fourth at Kempton on his only subsequent start. He remains a novice of some potential, however, and shouldn’t be hard pressed to get back to winning ways here. Peruvien Bleu won a handicap at Towcester in November but how he’ll cope back in a race like this under a penalty is anybody’s guess after a poor effort at Hereford in January. Big Chip And Pin and A Bold Move undoubtedly have plenty to find to trouble the two previous winners.
