In depth

Verdict

COURT RED HANDED could find the requisite improvement to land this race and he's suggested ahead of solid yardsticks like The Hudnalls and Silver Spinner. The locally trained selection showed ability between the flags in Ireland and has progressed with each of his starts under Rules for his new connections. He's been allotted a very fair mark ahead of his handicap bow and is fancied to show up well but there are slight stamina concerns despite his form in the pointing field. Silver Spinner is a consistent performer but lacks a turn of foot in the closing stages and may have to settle for a minor role again whilst The Hudnalls is back up in the weights following a good run at Hereford. Dawn At Sea makes some each-way appeal despite concerns about the ground and the trip, Knock Em Dead is sure to be on most short-lists as will King Of Castille following a decent run on his handicap bow at Chepstow. Cresswell Ruby is back on a fair mark and is worth monitoring for signs of confidence but preference is for Court Red Handed.
