Despite a couple of indifferent jumps, LADY DE LA VEGA won with a deal of authority over fences at Chepstow earlier this month. She's 8lb higher on her return to hurdling but that win will have done her confidence the world of good and she is probably the one to beat here. Rith Bob wasn't winning out of turn at Plumpton last month but may be a couple of pounds too high in the weights, while course winner Gilwen Glory was well beaten off this mark at Ludlow last week. Illysantachristina has been well beaten in two previous tries in this grade but Pearl could be interesting if back to her best as she was second at Ludlow off this mark around this time last year.
