ROSSERK ABBEY won well against better opposition at Exeter last week after an unlucky run at Newton Abbot. He’s been raised 6lb and is unproven on soft going but Shane Quinlan takes off 5lb again and credible threats look thin on the ground. Alanjou is a strong stayer but has had a break since July and is looking high enough in the weights now. Definately Vinnie would have place claims if cheekpieces have the desired effect.
