Verdict
APACHE OUTLAW is less exposed than the majority of these as he was having only his second start over hurdles when scoring in this grade at Taunton with Lac Sacre back in fourth. Connections retained him at the subsequent auction so presumably think he's capable of better. Calculated Risk looked a nice prospect at one time but was winning for the first time since 2013 when beating Lac Sacre half-a-length over 2m here last month. Bar A Mine is still a maiden, despite several tries at this level, while Filatore has been tailed off in both starts since a fair third in a handicap at Chepstow in January.
