Apt Son hasn't won for more than two years but is worth a market check as he travels over from Ireland. SPRING SECRET gets the vote over a trip he can handle and although Bryn Palling doesn't have a good record at the course his option under the assistance of Declan Cannon can win this race. Sandy Shaw is a danger having won over this trip on faster ground at Bath in July but her last two efforts haven't inspired confidence. Spring Secret is the tentative vote.
