    Verdict

The New One brings a touch of class to proceedings but a few runs in the spring suggested that his powers may be on the wane. CLYNE (NAP) is getting 13lb and two years and has plenty in his favour on his reappearance. The Betfair Hurdle third was only getting 8lb when beaten a length by the top weight in a Grade 2 at Haydock back in January. Ozzie The Oscar was third in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham in March so is no forlorn hope but this is much too short for the mare Rons Dream and Remiluc is 5lb wrong in the weights. Former champion chaser Sire De Grugy last ran over hurdles in 2012.
