Verdict

The three-year-old Deeds And Words should find this easier than recent tests and is unlikely to be far away. Veteran Cheveton will strip fitter for his run at Newbury though hasn't won over 6f since 2011 but there are possibilities about Daylight, who has been running well in decent company, while Forest Edge has already won four times this year including last time at Newmarket. Last year's winner GRAMERCY is looking seriously well handicapped again off a 3lb lower mark and his yard is back in form. The drop back to 6f can see him back to winning ways. Secondo is another with claims on his best form and is preferred to Joey's Destiny and Peace Seeker for each-way purposes.
