Verdict

Balkardy finished in front of Ballymagroarty Boy when second over track and trip recently and has every chance on the prevailing heavy going. Classic Concorde’s winning run came to an end off today’s mark at Hereford but the vote goes to GROVE ROAD. The latter is at his best on testing ground and has made a winning return to action on more than one occasion. Mario De Pail returns to the smaller obstacles on a winning mark and looks best of the rest.
