In depth

Verdict

Another modest sprint and best to stick with recent winning form in the shape of Sylvester Kirk's Piccolo filly, PURLEY QUEEN. She's improved notably the last twice and scored with something to spare over C&D a week ago under Richard Hughes. She receives a 6lb penalty for that victory which is offset by the booking of 7lb claimer, Thomas Brown. Verus Delicia was third that day and should get closer this time without reversing placings and the remainder have little or no form of note to recommend them. Maybe the move into handicap company will generate some improvement with Tenderly Place a hopeful choice for third spot.
