Verdict

Royal Scoundrel is improving and got off the mark in a maiden hurdle last month. More is needed here but he should be thereabouts while Ultravox has been placed in three of his last four runs, though the jury is still out over whether he stays this trip. Another Kate wins her share of races but the ground may be a little too soft for the mare today and more interesting is DANCING DUDE. He may have needed last month's run at Uttoxeter and the fact that he's won over 2m4f at Towcester suggests he'll have no problem with the extra half-mile here.
