    Verdict

Ed Walker has a chance of beating his best score for most winners this term and ARMED should certainly go close for the Upper Lambourn handler. The Invincible Spirit gelding has shown real promise on all three starts in maiden and novice company, never beaten far on each occasion. His latest run behind Al Kherb at Newbury reads as the best form in the race and he's preferred to Rock Force even though the latter finished a solid third on his reappearance in a race from which the fourth and fifth have won subsequently. Gates Pass is next best on form and Plait, a beautifully-bred Juddmonte filly, needs a market check on her belated racecourse debut.
