      Verdict

Banned took a fierce tug and hung right-handed for much of the way at Ripon so needs to settle better. TAMILLA was beaten a length by Emily Upjohn at Wolverhampton in November and though disappointing on her reappearance over this trip at Ripon just failed to catch Rich King over 1m2f at Haydock. Several winners have come out of that race so William Haggas' filly should lose her maiden tag. Andrew Balding's horses are in top form and Bay Dream Believer will improve markedly from her run at Salisbury but dual bumper winner Lady Excalibur faces a tough task against her younger rivals over this trip.
