Verdict

Chepstow winner Sankyouplease may struggle under a penalty, though Jack Sherwood again takes off 7lb, and we prefer IN THE GATE. His third to Briar Hill at Thurles in January was franked when the winner landed the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. Steel City has shown some promise but newcomers Thomas Junior and Nash Point, a half-brother to Welsh National winner Monbeg Dude, are more interesting and the latter looks the pick of Tim Vaughan's two runners ahead of Balotti.
